Smartgraft is a porcine xenograft supporting a vascularisation of the surgical site through its high porosity and large pores. The bone remodelling and volume stability are supported by the proprietary production process.
Using low temperature (500-600°C) cleaning cycle, the process is effective in purifying the bone and gentle by preserving the native structure of the bone particles. It support as well the remodelling process by preserving the low level of carbonate apatite crystal structure.
Intended use:
- Vertical- , horizontal alveolar ridge augmentation
- Filling of defects: root resection, apicoectomy, cystectomy and infrabony periodontal defects
- Filling of extraction sockets
- Elevation of the maxillary sinus floor
